About Aluminum billet Homogeneity
It is the homogenization treatment of the alloy, and the purpose of diffusion annealing is to make its chemical composition uniform. The general annealed state is to achieve the purpose of softening, which is conducive to machining and to eliminate residual stress.
As the video shown, will remove the aluminum billet in the Homogenizing furnace and keep temperature about 580 degree for 4 hours.
Based our experience , if you want to keep the aluminum extrusion thickness thin enough and the width of the extrusion big enough at the same time, It is necessary to make the homogeneity , especially for aluminum industrial extrusion and alloys like 6060, 6082 ,6005,6061, because most of them are used in some special industry filed or make for part of machine.

The specifications of aluminum billet 6063 are: 90m, 100mm, 120mm, 150mm, 178mm which used more .
